Liz is a field engineer for Earthscope's Plate Boundary Observatory and maintains the Cascadia subduction zone strainmeter network. Her interests are geodesy, structural geology, plate boundary deformation, in particular subduction zones, tsunami, and volcanic monitoring. In 2003, while in graduate school, she worked with the CALIPSO volcanic monitoring network on Montserrat and witnessed a large volcanic eruption. Liz cannot wait for the day when she will be surrounded by more women co-workers!
