It's a Blast: Summer on the Mountain Series

WHAT: Volcano exploration and fun for everyone all summer long. All are welcome for guided hikes and strolls, science geo-caching, volcano arts and crafts, the explosive Trashcano and so much more. Guided Winds of Change Trail walk will be on the hour every hour. Guide Hummocks Trail hike in the afternoon. Trashcano demonstrations and science activities all day. This event is FREE and open to the public. Snacks will be available for purchase.

WHERE: Mount St. Helens Science and Leaning Center

WHEN: May 25, June 22, July 27 & September 28, 2019. Each event will run from 11 AM to 6 PM.

Mount St. Helens Sky and Star Party

WHAT: Sky viewing, guest speakers, and family friendly activities. Advance registration necessary which will include camping /lodging, meals and night-viewing. Sign up HERE to receive a notification when registration opens.

WHERE: Mount St. Helens Science and Leaning Center

WHEN: August 24, 2019. Public night sky viewing with Rose City Astronomers and Friends of Galileo Astronomy Club will be held either August 23 or August 24 depending on the weather. Sign up HERE to receive updates about the 2019 Mount St. Helens Sky and Star Party and how to register.
