Nathan works as the Executive Director for the Opal Creek Ancient Forest Center and joined the board in 2018 where he serves as Secretary. Nathan’s background in environmental history helps him to view Mount St. Helens through a unique lens, that focuses on the interaction between landscapes and the people who live there. The Mount St. Helens Institute is lucky to have him share that perspective with our staff and board.
