Coronavirus Consequence to MSHI - Emergency Funds Needed

We are currently experiencing some significant challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Most immediately, we have a $145,000 shortfall as a result of canceling the May 2020 Eruptiversary Bill Nye events. Youth outdoor schools are canceled this spring, and most summer programs are not likely. Your gift is essential to ensure that when the COVID-19 pandemic passes, Mount St. Helens Institute will still be here to lead children to understanding and stewardship of the Earth through educational programming and to welcome families back into the wonders of a volcanic landscape.

Mount St. Helens Institute is recognized by the IRS as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. The Institute does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender, gender expression, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, military, genetic information, ancestry, marital status, age, citizenship or any other basis prohibited by law in any of its policies or programs.
