Winter Adventure

Join us as we will trek on snow trails through Douglas-fir and Hemlock forests to experience a tranquil mountain lake, waterfall, ancient snow-covered lava flows and incredible views of Mount St. Helens in Winter. Hike with experienced mountain guides and certified volunteer mountain stewards on a 5-mile loop to June Lake and learn about the incredible geological, ecological and human history of the Monument and the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Your guides will also help you explore the different types and uses of Winter hiking equipment, attire and techniques. No equipment? No problem! MSHI can provide snowshoes, traction devices and trekking poles at no charge!
