Shelby Anderson

Born and raised in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, where the mountains meet the sea, Shelby has always been passionate about connecting youth to the wildlife in their backyard. As an educator, her highest priority is to provide communities an opportunity to experience the outdoors in a positive, inclusive environment. Prior to joining MSHI, Shelby spent time leading the Education Team at the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge in Olympia, WA and is currently pursuing her undergrad at South Puget Sound Community College.

In her free time, Shelby can be found crafting and gaming with her three kids, cheering (and crying) over Seattle sports teams, and refining her bird and plant ID skills.
