About
Having been actively involved in outdoor activities from a young age, Luke fell in love with the wonderful recreation opportunities Washington affords. Participation in community focused projects is central to Luke’s values, some examples are the Black Diamond Open Space and Maple Valley Gnome Trail Legacy Site. Luke grew up in several different portions of the Osceola Mudflow; Tacoma, Maple Valley and Enumclaw. Luke is intimately familiar with the hazards and beauty the Cascade Range affords its residents. Working in the shadows of Tahoma and Lawetlat’la is thrilling for Luke, so much so he decided to do it for 3 seasons! When not guiding education groups, you can find Luke mountain biking, orienteering, or playing a very nerdy board game.
