2020 Programs in the time of a Pandemic

Like many organizations and businesses, we've had to adapt quickly and make tough decisions. After extensive deliberations, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to cancel our public 2020 summer programs until September 15.  You can read more about our response to the COVID-19 pandemic here.

We may be able to offer private programs depending on the following:

  • Local, state and federal orders and recommendations. This includes restrictions on group size.
  • Sufficient personal protective and cleaning supplies to protect our staff and guests
  • Guide staff availability for your desired trip date.

Mushroom Foraging remains public until further notice and you can register for this by clicking on the photo below.

  5. MSHI will provide an invoice at the time of reservation. MSHI cannot change party group size after the invoice is drafted.

TRAVEL: We expect you to follow Federal, State, Public Lands and Health Authority regulations and guidance on travel. Please reconsider travel if you are coming from an area with a large outbreak. Please visit Washington Governor Inslee’s page and Oregon Governor Brown’s page for travel information for the county in which you live.

FACE COVERINGS: Effective June 26, a WA statewide order requires individuals to wear a face covering in indoor public spaces such as stores, offices and restaurants. The order also requires face coverings outdoors when you can't stay 6 feet apart from others. You do not need to wear one when you are outdoors and people are far apart. Participants on MSHI programs are required to bring a face mask in case of emergencies or when we cannot be 6 feet apart.
