NORA OSMANOVA, Assistant Guide

Born and raised in Kurdamir, Azerbaijan I have always admired the mountains and the science behind them. I moved to Edmonds, Washington 5 years ago and immediately fell in love with the Cascades. I joined Climbers of Color as an avid hiker and learned Mountaineering leadership skills, snow travel and crevasse rescue. I have discovered myself between peaks and valleys of beautiful Cascades along with learning the safe skills to explore more of PNW. Over the past couple of years, I have also acquired Wilderness EMT  certification and Medical Provider in Charge training.

I am very passionate about helping others to see the beauty and richness of our nature and teach them the skills to preserve it. Aside from outdoor adventures, my passions vary from cooking, bartending, dancing to rock climbing, and I just recently started martial arts. I am excited to be part of MSHI as an assistant guide and share my story and experience with everyone.
