Connecting people to the magic of nature is what brought Cyndi to the Mount St. Helens Institute in 2023. She has had a long career of teaching outdoor education and wilderness living skills all up and down the west coast. Cyndi is a well-rounded naturalist who thrives at connecting community and supporting quality educational programming. She prefers sleeping in a primitive shelter rather than a tent and watching caveman TV (aka a fire).
When not up on the mountain, Cyndi can be found exploring rivers, beach combing, sewing some quilts, singing or listening to birds.
