ARINA ABBOTT, Assistant Guide

After many years away from the Cascades, Arina is thrilled to return to her home mountain range and community. As an Assistant Guide, she supports participants as they learn about themselves and the natural world that we inhabit. Arina brings a breadth of outdoor teaching experience to her role at MSHI, including naturalist education in Washington’s Channeled Scablands, youth rock climbing instruction in Colorado, and ski instruction in the country of Georgia. She is a recipient of the Guide Like Liz scholarship and holds Wilderness First Responder and AIARE Avalanche Level 1 certifications. Whether in the Cascades or the Caucasus, Arina is dedicated to sharing nature’s delights at every turn.
