Luke Menzie is a dedicated Science Educator who joined the Mount St. Helens Institute with a passion for making science more accessible and engaging. An alumnus of Enumclaw High School, he was an active participant in cross country, fostering a love for the outdoors and developing the qualities of teamwork and endurance that he now brings to his work at MSHI. Luke uses his experiences from the trails to inspire exploration and curiosity in those he teaches, emphasizing that scientific discovery is a journey requiring perseverance and curiosity.

In his free time, you'll often find Luke immersed in the great outdoors, running trails, or taking second place in Mario Kart tournaments.
