Snow avalanche accidents can and do happen at any time. All that’s needed is suitably steep terrain, unstable snow structure and something to tip the balance... that may be you! This presentation is a must-see for skiers, climbers, snowboarders, snowshoers and others who venture out on the snow. Find out how terrain, snow cover, weather and the human factor all contribute to avalanche dangers. Also learn what clues to look for, gear to take, routes to follow and what to do if you or a companion are caught in an avalanche.
