How to Register

EVERYONE MUST REGISTER TO CLIMB

To climb Mount St. Helens, all climbers must register at the Climber’s Register, available 24 hours a day outside the Lone Fir Resort, 16806 Lewis River Road (also known as State Route 503), Cougar WA. Climbers must sign in before their climb and sign out afterwards. Group leaders register for their entire group. Groups are limited to 12 climbers.

The Lone Fir Resort is also where climbers pick up their permits. Permits are issued during the resort’s open hours, which vary seasonally. Call (360) 238-5210 or visit the Lone Fir Resort’s website to check the resort’s hours of operations.
