Join Susie Cowan & Lee Baughman and the Mount St. Helens Institute for a creative, relaxed, and fun weekend spending 2 nights camping style inside the beautiful Science and Learning Center. Get inspired by the view overlooking Coldwater Lake and right into the crater of Mount St. Helens. The weekend includes acrylic painting/collage techniques, Gelli plate printing, guided naturalist walk, six buffet style meals, shared lodging, yoga, optional sightseeing and hiking, and more fun!

The Art-Adventures.com duo, Portland/Vancouver based team of Susie Cowan & Lee Baughman, will guide you through a series of exciting techniques using mixed media to create your own painting mementos of your visit to Mount St. Helen’s! Susie & Lee are popular art instructors and who have been teaching at Clark College for many years. Since forming www.Art-Adventures.com in 1995 they have led Watercolor Workshops, Aqueous Media, and Plein Air Adventures around the Northwest and abroad.
HOW TO REGISTER
Only 25 spots will be available for this awesome weekend. This event is best suited for adults 18 and over. Prior art experience is not required. Fees include instruction, lodging, and food. Guests will need to bring their own art supplies.
The Science and Learning Center at Coldwater is a hands-on education center located seven miles from the crater of Mount St. Helens, offering spectacular views and unparalleled educational opportunities for learners of all ages.
