Lacey joined the Mount St. Helens Institute in March 2017. Originally from Ohio, where the majority of her childhood was spent running around outside- usually barefoot, Lacey headed to Boston for Law School, graduating in 2008. Since 2008, Lacey has been working in the public interest sector and has not looked backed. After travelling internationally for years with a children’s rights organization, the amazing trails and hiking opportunities, paired with stunning views of the cascades, pulled Lacey to the Pacific North West. She is passionate about promoting environmental conservation, social justice issues, advocating for vulnerable communities, and securing funding to support equitable access to programming.
