KORI QUATERMASS, SCIENCE & LEARNING CENTER DIRECTOR

Kori Quatermass is a Pacific Northwest native who graduated from Portland State with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. She has done research on arachnids, invasive plant species, and worked in the biotechnology field. Kori gained program management, STEM curriculum development, and event planning experience while working at Oregon MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Achievement) and most recently, at nConnect in Vancouver. In the next several years, Kori hopes to help the Science and Learning Center thrive, finish her Masters of Science in Science Free-Choice Learning from Oregon State University, and visit more of America’s amazing National Parks, Monuments and other public lands. Outside of work, Kori enjoys spending time with her husband and son, gardening, cooking, crafting, hiking, birding, farmer’s markets, and exploring by bike.
