KEVIN SUTTON, Assistant Guide

Kevin comes to MSHI with a passion for outdoor education and fostering a sense of place attachment through experience. Kevin has a graduate degree in Environmental Education, an undergraduate degree in Outdoor Leadership, and numerous certifications. He has spent the last ten years as an outdoor professional in various roles including three seasons as an interpretive ranger with Oregon State Parks and two seasons as a wilderness ranger with the National Park Service (Olympic and North Cascades). Kevin is an avid volunteer and is currently serving a second term on the Board of Directors for the Wilderness Education Association. When not at work, Kevin can be found on a bike, on a cliff (climbing), in the garden, or playing board games.
